Rotary Club of Mumbai Parleshwar received its Charter on 14th June 1994. The name"Parleshwar" is adopted from the ancient & historic Lora Shiva temple which stands as an institutional land mark in Vile Parle

Today we are a group of over 90 enterprising & successful men & women from diverse fields committed to the Rotary moto of "Service above Self’ Apart from supporting Rotary International’s social mission such as eradication of polio, AIDS, etc, we have been a part of the social & cultural scene around Mumbai city & beyond. To strengthen the club’s financial foundation, The Rotary Club of Vile Parle Charitable Trust was formed in 2003. The trust is registered with the Charity Commissioner and has permanent 80G certificate from Income Tax. All donations and project expenses are routed through the Trust to ensure 100% utilization of funds towards charity..We actively undertake community welfare projects in various avenues in Rotary and sometimes have tie ups with International Funds to execute mega projects such as donation of Medical Equipments worth Rs.45 lacs to Mahaganapati Hospital at Titwala, Rs.85 lacs to St. Elizabeth Hospital at Grantroad for Hospital’s Diagonostic & Patient facilities. We are sure what we started 31 years back shall grow into a bigger movement with the help & support of like-minded people like you.
